"This was a nice place to stay for one night with my small child. Check in was easy and simple. I was able to valet my vehicle without issue. I didn't see any walkable places to eat when we arrived after hours but we were able to get some basic snacks from the market. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. "The entire Staff alone should ALL be Congratulated to the highest extent. The entire Front desk Staff, especially Tania and Jose and Ryan, and all whom I had met, including the Maintenance, who was always Courteous, Kind and above all Professional, TOP-NOTCH! \m/ The Rooms are very spacious and quiet, due to good construction between Rooms. "The staff were unbelievably attentive and helpful throughout our stay! I also really appreciated the security guards downstairs and the fact that only guests could use the elevators to the bedrooms. I wasn't worried at all :) Thank you for the complimentary waters, as well. We drank so many."

"The price is very decent for the room you get. Room is very clean, and the onsite manager is very kind. But you get just the room (which is OK if that's all you need)! Keep in mind this two-star hotel is located at the edge of the city. It's probably best choice for travelers who drive themselves. It's within 5 to 10 minutes walk to public transportations including Bart train station and several buses. But be prepared to walk through some poorly conditioned areas. "

"There were no towels. There was no remote for the tele. There were also no fridge/microwave, but, i don't believe any/all of those had been promised to start with. It was, kind of, filthy in there, but, was definitely not poopy or anything."

"I stayed here for two nights for parents weekend at Berkeley. It’s very clean and a nice hotel. The only problem and biggest problem is that my room ( actually all the queen rooms) was facing the main street so there was a lot of car noise specially at night when you want to sleep. Other than this it was a good hotel to stay in. "

"The front desk people were, as always, fantastic. Faith, Kiyerra and Marco were so helpful, professional and accommodating. I can't say enough about them. Really and truly. We adore Joe Jackson as well. He's always hospitable and willing to go the extra mile. We feel so great about staying at this hotel. Our friends tell us over and over that we simply must try to Fairmont Claremont due to its elegant and historical setting, etc., but we have no interest in staying anywhere but the Residence Inn...
