"Went with 3 couples to bird cheek chalet for a friends 40th birthday. This place is very nice and spacious. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It’s pet friendly and the road is nice for walking your pet and you can get on the trail down to bird creek nearby. We skied Alyeska and it was about a 14 min drive. We also spent a relaxing day at the nearby Nordic Spa. The hot tub at the Chalet is a very nice addition and we were able to see the northern lights from it one night! The host was very responsive and checked to make sure everything was okay for us. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. WE definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others who want a quiet scenic getaway cabin overlooking Trail River and the Kenai Mountains. Tom, Charlie and Katmai"
