"Chalet #5 was generally clean, somewhat updated with good windows; furnishings were dated but in good repair and comfortable. The overall finishes were a hodgepodge, no cohesive decorating theme. Good lighting. Bathtub and hot tub were both clean. Nice dishwasher and clothes washer with adequate supplies of detergent. Comfortable bed in master. Areas of concern: Light bulb out in refrigerator. Upstairs bed was creaking which could be heard downstairs. Cobwebs in the master bedroom and above...

"Our host Gary was on top of it and got us in earlier than we had hoped and even upgraded us to a nicer, roomier and cozy cabin. We stayed on for three nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The spa was wonderful on a cool frosty night or morning and was clean and well kept. WE definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others who want a quiet scenic getaway cabin overlooking Trail River and the Kenai Mountains. Tom, Charlie and Katmai"

"The location was quiet and serene and the house was everything we expected based on the listing! It was clean and friendly and we would definitely either stay here again or recommend to a friend! The only reason we decided 4 stars instead of 5 was the difficulty/lack of clarity on where to park and how overgrown the pathway to the chalet was, making it difficult to bring luggage back and forth. Other than that, the perfect experience"
