This quaint, A-frame cabin is ideal for travelers wanting seclusion and easy access to plentiful outdoor activities. Centrally located yet out of the way in a natural forested setting, this rental is under two miles from Alyeska Resort, where you'll find world-class skiing, scenic summer tram rides, and fine dining. In the summer, hike the spectacular Crow Pass, Iditarod, or Winner Creek Trails into surrounding glaciers in the Chugach National Forest, and then end the day by soaking in the hot tub. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Spring break ski trip

So Cozy
This cozy little cabin had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was out while we were there but, the Nordic spa was just down the road. It was a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Clean and nice. A couple of things to know about this place is the only access to the loft is climbing a steep ladder and also, the automatic lock was malfunctioning and you had to try more than 4 times to open the door.

Great hot tub
After me having a stroke and a friend of mine that went with me that spent five months in the hospital he was totally relaxing totally clean very easy to find I wish I had learned about this years ago but we will be back for sure and the hot tub excellent can't say enough about how good it was thank you for your hospitality and sharing your cabin with all of us. Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male sure batteries are fully charged at all times on the security lock.

Great home, however unfortunate booking experience through Expedia/Vacasa
House was great. We were bummed to book through Expedia and then not get the check-in code until we called the morning of our reservation and sorted it out with Expedia and Vacasa for 1.5+ hours on the phone. That was annoying as it delayed our trip leaving our house for the weekend. Besides that, the house was great...just the booking was annoying.

We usually love it. This time the furnace ways making loud noise. The couch was broken. The TV did not work and the hot tub was 110° so we couldn't go in it. It was our 40th anniversary. We got moved the next day. Everything worked all of the other times we rented it. Kind of ruined our night.

Great location, misleading info and dangerous issues
The locale is great. However, when we booked it we booked it with a hot tub. There is even a hot tub in the picture. When we asked, we were told by vacasa that we should have been notified of the change. They admitted that they didnt notify us. We asked for a partial refund. They wouldnt because they said we had paid the no hot tub rate. The front stoop was thick as 5 inches in ice. They said it should be cleared before we arrived. They said they would clear it. They also said they provide a shovel for us to use when it snows. It did snow but no shovel. Someone did come but all they did was put some gravel on the ice. When we went to cook, black smoke billowed from the oven setting off the fire alarm and it was stinky and pretty nasty. Make sure you have a vehicle since you are required to take your trash down to the recepticle located .9 miles from the cabin.

Yuck!
We arrived at the cabin, and the road to the cabin wasn't well-maintained. So we had to park down the hill and carry our things up the icy hill. Once we arrived, we found that the property had not been cleaned. There were used towels in the bathtub, tampons in the trash, used dishes on the counters, and the bed was slept in and not made or sheets changed. We called and received a refund.
