"We visited the Cozy Cottage on Lake Norman recently for business in the area. We loved the location on Lake Norman. The property was clean and well stocked and well suited for our needs. The beds were pretty comfy and the rooms were not too small. Nicely furnished. It has a spectacular view of Lake Norman and a great fire pit with a small sand beach area. It has a great dock and a small boat ramp for launching kayaks or canoes or small boats. We are bass anglers and have a 21 foot bass boat, we would not recommend trying to launch your bass boat here, mainly because of the distance to turn around in the driveway, but it's perfect for smaller boats or a short trailer. The location is about 10-15 minutes from shopping and restaurants in Mooresville. We thought it was perfect because it was very quiet and relaxing and away from traffic. We also had decent cellphone service here.Only negative we noticed was that not all of the burners on the gas grill worked. However, it was adequate, we were able to cook a nice steak! Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would come back here again."
