"I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. "The property was okay, it is an older motel and dated, but was clean. I don't know if something was going on that weekend in Montrose, but we paid over $180 for one night in a room that should have been $100 per night. The manager there in the morning was wonderful, due to COVID they could not open the breakfast area until 7 am but I needed coffee at 6:30 and he was happy to oblige, I was thankful for that :) If the price was more in line with the property, I would rate it higher."

"I left my wedding ring and didn’t realize it until a few hours after the fact. Words can’t express my relief upon calling that they had my ring in a safe place waiting for me to pick it up. Huge shoutout to Brooke and We do for their honesty and good natured attitudes upon picking it up. The honest staff gives this place a five star review despite the current construction. "The staff was so nice and helpful . The beds were very comfortable . Everything was clean and new in the room - with a nice size television screen. I loved the bathrooms, they were modern and sleek. Breakfast was good , we slept great. The staff kept our room very clean and neat. A great stay , I would stay there again. "
