"In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking."

"The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. Unbelievably, incredibly wonderful place! Wish I could have stayed for longer. "

"Great property in center of the city, if you have a hard time walking this city is not for you, have to park outside the city and haul bags to and from the hotel, other than that the staff was great and the city is going back in time. Also call ahead to give time of arrival."

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"We highly recommend staying here! Staying within the walled city is an amazing experience and this accommodation is within easy walking distance to all the stores, shops, and cellar doors. It’s also a great launching point for exploring the surrounding area. The hosts are very helpful and made check in easy. It’s truly a unique experience and one you wouldn’t want to miss!"

"The house sits on a top a of the hill with amazing views of Tuscany. Location-wise it was about 30 mins to Montalpulciano, 50 mins to Sienna and an hour to Perugia. Decent equipped."

"Lovely room! Great location! Only recommendation is to get a shower head and curtain. I stayed in the summer room and had no idea how to shower without making a mess."

"This is a beautiful property and it is fully stocked with everything you will need. We cannot praise Claudio and his staff enough. We truly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Siena surroundings. The property is extremely close to the city center but far enough to enjoy a tranquil setting. Claudio has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We had two different kinds of hand soap which I really appreciated. Water was provided daily at the bar, and breakfast was delightful. Wine, espresso, drinks are all available for purchase. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating reasonable request. If we are ever back I Siena, I know exactly where I’m staying. Thanks again Claudio! "

"Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is an exceptional hotel offering a stunning view of Val d'Orcia, a beautiful valley in Tuscany. One minor drawback that I encountered during my visit in the winter was that the temperature of the indoor pool was not as warm as I would have preferred. While the pool area is undoubtedly lovely, it would have been more enjoyable with a higher water temperature, especially during the colder months. Overall, Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is a fantastic choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tuscany and indulge in a luxurious hotel experience.
