Rooms are cozy and full of character, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring the lake, the Grotte di Catullo, and the charming old town. Breakfast was fresh and served with genuine warmth—just like everything else here. If you’re looking for a hotel with heart, history, and a host you’ll never forget, Filminia is the place. "It is such a fun, family-friendly place. The staff is always wonderful and helpful!! Walking to town is so easy and beautiful. The walk to town is lake and marina - side. So fun and laid back. Simple and sweet."

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The food was great, the staff was friendly, they offered us lots of snacks and plenty of water in our rooms, daily housekeeping, just all in all a great experience. We got married at Isola del Garda, just a 30 minute boat ride from the dock behind the hotel which was convenient. The asthetic of the property was very elegant, old money luxury. We loved the heated outdoor pool for when the sun was out, and we enjoyed the indoor spa and heated pool for when it rained. The only complaints I have is that the area isn't very walkable, and the taxis are insanely high priced. We had the hotel call us a taxi to go about 16 minutes up the street and back & paid 75€. Insane. Public transportation is the only thing that makes sense in Italy unless you're on a splurge. "

"Our stay here was amazing! Although we were only here for one night, we wish we got to stay longer. The building, rooms, and staff are all lovely. This is in very close proximity to Gardaland and Movieland for some fun day trips. We would absolutely recommend! "
