"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 19 Tile. There's virtually no street presence to the space though. We found ourselves tentatively knocking on a door we thought was correct and we were right but there is no hotel signage otherwise. Each room is decorated by a large artist which is a delight. Breakfast had a large ceramic giraffe holding a chandelier in it's mouth to light the space. It's quirky and I recommend it highly!"

"This is an exceptional place. It is family run and they help to make your stay all you want it to be. Breakfasts are a mix of continental plus bacon and eggs if you wish. You will be full. The town has a laid back atmosphere with nice beaches along with some rocky rugged areas. Worth a visit! "

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days. The rooms are quaint with all the special extras, and the reception from Anabelle and Jean=Pierre was wonderful! We had a great breakfast with pastry and charcouterie, etc. Couldn't ask for more!"

"The couple who run the facility are engaging and very welcoming. We were greeted with a drink of choice and conversation to get to know our hosts as well as them getting to know us. The room was just as promised with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were given great advice on visiting some of the nearby sights. The location was perfect!! "Owner is very kind and responsive. The local manager is kind also and speak English well. There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. I had to be proactive in this communication but after the owner personally called and wanted to make sure the unit issue was addressed. They did get then handy man to come and fix it. "A un lado del santuario de nuestra Señora de Fátima se encuentra el hotel. La mejor ubicación en toda la ciudad. Está a 5 minutos caminando a la estación de autobús y tiene el mejor restaurante. El servicio es muy amable tanto en el hotel como en el restaurante. Las habitaciones están muy cómodas y amplias."

"The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."
