" We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"

"We are a family of 4 and had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The apartment is spacious and located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything by foot. Despite being in such a central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The host was exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing all the information I needed for a smooth stay, including a list of great local restaurants. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo!"

"This hotel was a fantastic find! In the heart of Palermo within walking distance to almost everything you would want to see or do. Short walk to the bus/train station for day trips or excursions. Elevator was accessible. Room was large and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of shopping and eating just steps outside of the door. Perfect location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip."
