"We were able to check in early, which was a big plus. Plenty of parking was available. Food at the restaurant was good. Communication was a bit of a challenge, since we spoke English and the staff mostly spoke French but there was a man at the bar/restaurant who spoke English. The elevator is a bit small and the winding road to drive to the hotel was a challenge but the place is beautiful up in the mountains."

"We first stayed here as the Bella Lui Hotel but it is now run by a youth hostel organisation. It has lost the charm of the private hotel and is now, because it is a hostel, more functional. The period furniture and ornaments have been replaced by standard facilities. However, the staff are very helpful and location is the key - within walking distance of Crans centre with some amazing views. But the breakfast is the big disappointment. It was wonderful but is now barely adequate. A small...
