"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "This is a great place to stay for keen skiers who know each other well as the sleeping area is open plan. Great for a family or four very close friends. If you come in winter, you need a 4x4 to have independent access to the chalet. Ski in/ski out for good skiers. Well equipped and extremely charming. The owner Harald is very helpful and always available. Recommended!"

"Loved this property! It was a perfect ski chalet! We walked to go rent skis and then walked to slopes (using funicular) - could also walk to grocery store. "We had a wonderful time in Beauchalet. It is a truly delightful chalet - full of character with wonderful views from every window. Bruno was very helpful and responsive when we were there. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the teenagers enjoyed stoking it up each evening. When the snow is sparse the chalet is not really easy to ski in and ski out, but it was only a short walk from the pistes. "Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. "We loved the house and the access to the mountain. The place was clean and very comfortable for all of us. We had no problems with anything. The only complication was the ice getting down to the property due to rain and freezing temps. Other than that which is no one’s fault it was a great place"

The views are great driving can be a bit challenging, climbing the mountain but we are happy that we had a car as this small town had only very few stores. The house is nice and clean but not big.
