"From 530 to 7 they have a sort of happy hour. They gave us four drinks, free wine or beer and had many options like mac & cheese pulled pork sandwiches hotdogs"

"We liked that it was across the street from a very good diner that is open all night. It was very close to Spectrum Center which is where the event was we came for. Our room was very clean and it was quiet. Housekeeping was very sweet. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a good visit. "

"I loved the beauty and the elegance of the Ballantyne. The staff, food and service were exceptional. The rooms are large and spacious with beautiful water and park views. The linens and towels were soft and embraceable. I highly recommend staying at The Ballantyne for a special event, or when you want to feel pampered. They had a Ginger Bread House contest and the families all did an amazing job. We left on Dec. 26 and a beautiful set-up for Christmas Tea. Next time, we’ll stay 4 nights to enjoy the Tea."

"The properties outside doesn’t look anything like the inside (I think there getting something’s worked on). The inside is VERY nice. You can tell it’s kept up very well. They have a starbucks in the morning time and then a bar in the evening. The staff members were also very nice and helpful. I loved how you didn’t have access into the hotel after a certain time without key and you couldn’t get up the elevator without a key as well. We had a room on the 16th floor, it was very quiet, peaceful, and the balcony gave great views to the fall building downtown. Overall I would definitely stay here when we come back "
