"Wonderful stay at Zen Farms! We were 4 adults, 2 kids (age 2 and 4), plus two dogs looking for a quiet, large space for the kids to “roam”. Peri and Jeff are overcommunicative, wonderful hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and bake for the whole family— there is even an instant pot! Peri invited us to help feed and brush the animals (goats, mini horses, ducks, fish, chickens, and pigs!) each morning and afternoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The home is very spacious, with three bedrooms two bathrooms upstairs and a twin room half bath downstairs. The pool table is located in the family room, the farthest from the upstairs bedrooms, so our sleeping kids wouldn’t hear anything. The house is also equipped with multiple gates (for kids or dogs), an extra twin mattress (which we used for one of the kiddos), and a pack n play, and PLENTY of sheets, towels, blankets, and robes. There are also beach chairs, boogie boards, and wetsuits of all sizes (including for kids)— honestly we’ve never stayed in a more well-stocked home.The location is on the Mesa in Arroyo Grande, about 15 min drive from Pismo Beach, 10 min from Oceano, and 20-25 min from SLO. Close enough to everything you need (grocery stores, beach) and far enough from the city that it’s very quiet and you can see all the stars at night. We’ll be back!"

"I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The owners were terrific. Great communication. Very reasonably priced for what they give you. We spent our Christmas Vacation in their home, and we wanted for nothing. We arrived at a fully decorated home for the holiday. A bottle of wine and a box of candy on the table. Everything you could think of was there down to spare batteries for the remote controls and a garlic peeler. We sat on the patio overlooking a golf course and lit the firepit and drank in Christmas 2024. We were able to host a Christmas Dinner for 10 people and had all the dishes and glassware and pots and pans to do the job.In short, this was a fantastic stay. The owners really tried to make their home feel like ours. I would go back in a heartbeat and will be staying with them again hopefully soon. Thank you for a wonderful time."

"We have family in Santa Maria and Pismo Beach so this is a perfect spot for us. 4th time staying here. Easy access to freeway, and an easy walk to restuarants (like Jackos). Quiet neighborhood.. and room for two cars in garage is nice."
