"Wonderful stay at Zen Farms! We were 4 adults, 2 kids (age 2 and 4), plus two dogs looking for a quiet, large space for the kids to “roam”. Peri and Jeff are overcommunicative, wonderful hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and bake for the whole family— there is even an instant pot! Peri invited us to help feed and brush the animals (goats, mini horses, ducks, fish, chickens, and pigs!) each morning and afternoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The home is very spacious, with three bedrooms two bathrooms upstairs and a twin room half bath downstairs. The pool table is located in the family room, the farthest from the upstairs bedrooms, so our sleeping kids wouldn’t hear anything. The house is also equipped with multiple gates (for kids or dogs), an extra twin mattress (which we used for one of the kiddos), and a pack n play, and PLENTY of sheets, towels, blankets, and robes. There are also beach chairs, boogie boards, and wetsuits of all sizes (including for kids)— honestly we’ve never stayed in a more well-stocked home.The location is on the Mesa in Arroyo Grande, about 15 min drive from Pismo Beach, 10 min from Oceano, and 20-25 min from SLO. Close enough to everything you need (grocery stores, beach) and far enough from the city that it’s very quiet and you can see all the stars at night. We’ll be back!"

"This property with 5 bedrooms and 6 baths was perfect for our family (there were 10 of us this year plus 2 dogs)! We go away each Christmas to a VRBO home and this one did not disappoint. While the furnishings are a bit dated, the home and grounds are beautiful! The kitchen and bathroom were clean and clean matters to us!"

"We have family in Santa Maria and Pismo Beach so this is a perfect spot for us. 4th time staying here. Easy access to freeway, and an easy walk to restuarants (like Jackos). Quiet neighborhood.. and room for two cars in garage is nice."

"Bottle of wine, candies, and a nice note upon arrival. Nice touch. Nice home, perfect location near parents. Overall pretty clean, but dusty with cobwebs, likely unused for a bit. The only negative was the shower heads. They hit my face and couldn’t be adjusted. There is an overhead rain shower head also but again, not my favorite. Minor inconvenience. Would definitely recommend staying here"
