"Very quiet culdesac right on the beach. Kaanapali beach is one of the best - walk for miles on perfect sand, and good snorkeling. Most low-rise buildings are set back quite a ways so you can't see the beach. Very helpful front desk staff and lobby has been fully renovated. Hotel was probably built in the 70s judging some popcorn ceilings. Rooms are probably a mixed bag depending what you get. "This is a great property if you have a big family and want space in your room. If you’re Looking for the resort experience this is not the right place. They do have snorkel gear and boogie boards to rent along with umbrellas and chairs. Pool is close to the beach and it’s a 10 minute walk to shops. All good things."

"Fabulous view from every room. Watched whales and turtles every day from the lanai. Clean, comfortable room. Pat at the from desk was especially helpful in accommodating requested changes."

"We enjoyed the view of the ocean, turtles and whales. We felt safe on the property. We were told just the day before our arrival that there would be no cleaning of our room unless we paid extra. We stayed 15 nights. This new policy was unappreciated and the short notice via text unacceptable. The property did charge us a daily fee but we were not sure for what."

"I arrived at night and didn’t realize there wasn’t a front desk. My phone had no signal, so I couldn’t make a call. A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. "Everything you needed is there on the property. The only thing I wish they had was a shuttle bus. Unless you have transportation, you have to take a taxi. Other than that the concierge the staff were great. I did miss having Poi at the luau. "
