"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. "Excellent information regarding access to the villa and it’s resources. Very impressed with how well equipped the villa is with regards to everyday amenities. Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. "This was a terrific place to stay. The apartment was clean and spacious with a full kitchen and washing machine. Check in was at a nearby hotel with a parking garage just across the street. It was not a problem for us but there is no elevator to the apartment. The climb up about 30 stairs was worth the view of the main walking area from the apartment. "

"Excellent location with great views, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great breakfast and rooftop views. Very comfortable room and bed. I had read a lot of complaints about the pillows - we loved the memory foam pillows! As for the see through glass door shower and bathroom - not ideal but perfectly fine. It's separate from the bed area. Highly recommend this hotel"

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "

"I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
