"The location of this apartment is right in the middle of the action. Grocery and laundry are minutes away. The listing advertises room for 3, but definitely not 3 adults. The folding bed (stored in the stairwell) is only 165cm (5'6") long, so not good for anyone but a child. When we arrived the third bed was outside the apartment and no bedding or towels for a third person was supplied. Al principio hubo algo de descoordinación con la empresa local que gestionaba la casa, pero una vez allí, todo perfecto. "What an amazing property! Outdoor space with pool, BBQ, dining table and sun loungers was used frequently. All bedrooms were a good size. View from the upper terrace was breathtaking. The walk to Luz beach gave us our daily exercise. "This was a terrific place to stay. The apartment was clean and spacious with a full kitchen and washing machine. Check in was at a nearby hotel with a parking garage just across the street. It was not a problem for us but there is no elevator to the apartment. The climb up about 30 stairs was worth the view of the main walking area from the apartment. "

"Excellent location with great views, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great breakfast and rooftop views. Very comfortable room and bed. I had read a lot of complaints about the pillows - we loved the memory foam pillows! As for the see through glass door shower and bathroom - not ideal but perfectly fine. It's separate from the bed area. Highly recommend this hotel"

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "

"I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
