"We had a great time at this lovely home and property. The views are amazing and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Neighbor's cows came to visit and a herd of deer were in the yard quite a bit. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area."

"We rented the cabin for an elk hunt we scored in unit 86. The cabin was the perfect size to base out of and had all the comforts of home with the beauty of the Sangre's and Hayden Creek. Loved our stay and will hopefully be back soon!"

"Rented the cabin for my anniversary weekend in November. We didn't see a single other person, which I enjoyed, but I'm sure it's a wildly different experience in-season. The stream and woods were right out our door, and we had some nice little walks. Looks like a lot of bigger hiking opportunities nearby, but we didn't go far. It's about a ten or fifteen minute drive to a gas station or store. The site was quiet and secluded (in winter). Saw lots of deer. The cabin was plenty warm with two...

"The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God. "

"We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly."
