"Staff were very friendly and courteous. Kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were out of the world! Onsen, water temperature was perfect, and Jungle Onsen was interesting. Our room was tatami room with 2 beds which was large enough and comfortable. Even though the unit was rustic, it was very clean. They had no problem picking us up from the JR station even though I called the hotel in the morning of the arrival day. (Get off at JR Chikugo-Yoshiimachi station.) "Good location within walking distance to shopping and food. However, we feel that the staff are a bit rigid (especially in terms of check in time and check out time). There was also one particular lady who didn’t speak very good English and was kind of rude. A bit unusual for Japanese as she appeared rather annoyed because of several additional questions I asked about keeping luggages. "

"Wonderful stay, great service, comfortable room and excellent bathroom. Spacious by Japanese standard. Great view of the city where Hakata-station is just across the hotel. Lots of eating and shopping places. Staffs were very helpful and made reservation for us at a nearby Omakase place."
