"This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. "Upmarket rustic. We (two friends) stayed just one night but could easily have done another night. Great accommodation if you are a bigger group. Comms were good. We were a little unsure about the check in but used a bit of commonsense. Heavy rain prevented us making more of the outdoor space. "

"The location of the property suited us well because of the proximity to the beach. Very clean linen and comfortable bed. The general cleanliness of the unit let it down. The floor was very dirty and under the bed had obviously not been looked at for some time. Otherwise, good service. "
