"We rented this home as a landing spot for our daily excursions. The house is right on the water, so sunsets and dolphin watching was spectacular. We wished there was easier access to the water for swimming and snorkeling, but we were able to get in the water via other beaches."

"Great host, great location. About an hour from Kona, definitely need a car to get around to other areas of the island. But the area is very scenic so the drives were nice. The host was really responsive and left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would stay at the house again. "

"Our cute yellow bedroom was adorable. We spent evening hours out on the lanai - Reading out on the lanai was so relaxing! Listening to all the nightly chirping was cool. Emma cooked wonderful breakfasts that started our days eating upstairs on their outdoor patio. Carl shared all the fruits around their home that Emma used. Location was great - we went to one beach 2.5 miles south and saw fish and a sea turtle. Snorkeled at step down beach - cool fish seen. We ventured 15 -25 min for evening meals. Note: downtown Kona parking charges $15/hr - we stayed for one hour to view all the artisans at their art show. Again great b& b - highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful time staying here. Its is a nice cozy place to stay. Peace and quite away from the crowd. But close enough to drive to see all the sites. We only met the host jen the first day. She was kind and thoughtful."

" The location of this house on the lava rock cliffs overlooking the ocean is amazing. The sound of the waves day/night, and the beautiful blue water is something we enjoyed every day. The location is a bit (45 minutes) out of Kona, so if you don't want to drive much, this probably isn't for you. We enjoyed the winding drive in and out of the neighborhood. The neighborhood itself was very quiet and peaceful. The house is nice with lots of little perks (spices, ample outdoor seating, etc.). The furnishings aren't fancy but are fine. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a quaint, lovely place on the ocean, we would definitely recommend this rental."

"Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away. But we appreciated the quiet and snorkling was within 15 minutes away. A nice, clean and reasonably priced place to stay."

"It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again."
