"We enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Farm. Hostess was very welcoming! Beautiful avocado farm with chickens & goats & cat! We loved the attached backyard deck for morning & night hangout, beautiful views! And florally fragrant air was unbelievable. Kitchen is well equipped for meal making. It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect! Many beautiful and less busy beaches not far away. Loved the location away from Kona-busy. "

"We have rented properties around the world and this is a new favorite. It’s out of town, but not so far that you can’t easily get to local attractions. Very clean well appointed kitchen and home. The private beach area and pool were fantastic. Very responsive hosts and we highly recommend this home. "

"This is our second time in Big Island. We knew we want to stay around Captain Cook area because we like to snorkel. We didn’t expect being greeted with the most delicious banana muffins. In addition, Keri and Tina generously share their fruits and eggs from the garden. The animals were all so cute and welcoming (yes including the geckos) - part of the package😊. "We were looking for someplace away from the crowds that was peaceful and quiet and that’s exactly what we found at this property. On the water edge with access to snorkeling just down the road. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet, which was wonderful. The host was easily accessible and provided plenty even information about the house and the area. "
