Starting about 6 days prior to this rental, I started contacting the host to find out what the check-in process was. I sent a total of 3 emails, none of which were ever answered. I also tried to call the number listed on the advertisement, but all I ever got was a voicemail prompt. I left 2 messages - the day before and the day our rental was supposed to start. I...

"Communication with management/owner was not very good. I was unprepared for the check-in process. It was different than any other check in process. Having to download apps and have separate security deposits taken at check-in was horrible and inconvenient. The location was great for walking to the convention center and restaurants in the middle of town. The apartment was very nice, a little bit noisy but fulfilled our requirements."
