"We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again."

"Had a fabulous stay. Staff were just amazing. They really couldn't do enough. Rooms were lovely but bathroom a bit dated. Comfortable beds with absolute silence all night. We stayed just before Christmas and the open fire and Christmas Decs were so welcoming. Will definitely stay again"

"Unfortunately Hotels dot com double booked the room so my "guaranteed" booking was in fact not guaranteed and I had no bed for the night!! H.C knew about the lack of availability 2 days before I was told (1 hour before check in). So, with no time to find a alternative my weekend was ruined. I must stress this has nothing to do with the hotel, I just suggest you use a different company to book. "

"Location and view fantastic, however it's a shame that cleanliness wasn't as good. I didn't expect to have to clean plates etc before use, Also numerous cobwebs dotted around, dirty floors, unironed bedding. Not exactly a great first impression. Would I recommend? Definitely not!"
