"Villa Oleanna is magical. The view from the room, the view from around the property is amazing and mesmerizing. The rooms are terrific, the entire property is wonderful. And the proprietors are caring, warm and everything one would want in a place to stay. Sitting outside with a capuccino looking out at the fjord as the sun sets--- Wow. We will go back as soon as we can."

"This property is a true gem. If you want mints on your pillow go somewhere else. If you want a very clean, very quiet, very functional retreat from the rat race this place is like a dream. "Had a quick one night stay after landing in Bergen. About 2km from the airport. 3 minute walk to Birkelandsskiftet Terminal. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful."

"We were not given the large room we had deliberately booked, so 2 stars down just for that. The hotel is designed for conferences and large corporate events. During our stay it was virtually empty. In the lobby there are plenty of large, modern and uncomfortable chairs and sofas. I did not find somewhere relaxing to sit, certainly not in the room either. Breakfast was good and staff always had a smile."

"This was the 2nd stay at this property. I was pleased that they read my first review and I was offered a bigger room at no cost which was very appreciated :) The hotel is very nice and the included breakfast was very good - special shoutout to the lady who manages the breakfast - she is very nice and very pleasant to talk to and she made the breakfast more enjoyable."

"This is a great hotel considering the room tariff I paid for my three nights stay at Magic Hotel. The hotel location is one of the best and just across the fish market. The staff are also great. Though I booked their least priced room but the front desk upgraded me to the harbor view room. The room was really big and the bathroom was also good size. The bathroom was very clean. The bed and linen all private of very good quality. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and they have 24 hours free coffee and tea in the reception and also a restaurant in the hotel. There is no wardrobe or phone or iron in the room. But overall I was very happy that I booked this hotel. "

"It was a good location. About a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel to get to the tour guide pick up locations. About a 5 to 10 minute walk to the light rail train which can take you to the airport and other tourist spots. A lot of restaurants and shops also within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. "

"Scandic Neptun is perfectly located—an easy walk to the harbor, Bryggen, and lots of great food and beer spots. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety and fresh options. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so no view—just other rooms across—but it was quiet and comfortable. Overall, a solid base for exploring Bergen!"
