"We were disappointed upon arrival to learn that the onsite restaurant was closed. Our stay was at the end of the season but we were unaware of the closure. This was the only problem with our stay. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. "We had a really lovely stay here. It was off season, cold and wintery and the rooms are a bit old fashioned, but the price was very reasonable and the room was perfectly clean and in good condition. "An amazing place tucked away in the countryside but conveniently located for lots of the area’s attractions. We came in late Sept and the weather was warm enough for us to picnic our evening meal on the terrace in peace and quiet.
