"Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm"

"We arrived earlier than our check in time of 3pm, and were given early check in.we had rang to enquire about early check in but as with any hotel its never guaranteed but we were sorted very fast with the friendliest staff. The hotel itself is spotless and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable relaxed stay."

"The shower room was bizarre, like a caravan shower. We stayed because we were doing the Otley Run and it was a taxi to the start. Staff were great and check in was a breeze! We got to go to our rooms straight away when we got there at 11am which was fantastic! "

"We choose this hotel because it was close to the racecourse to do the park run . This isn’t our first time staying here we opted for premium room this time which was a lot bigger with a comfy big bed perfect for the purposes of our stay "

"The room was large and the beds were so comfy. The shower was touchy, moving it slight caused it to be extremely hot or extremely cold. I enjoyed the restaurant on site, delicious food, good stocked bar."
