"Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were always greated warmly when entering. Breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. The location was within walking to most things we wanted to see and bus line was at front door and a short walk to tub, trains and boats."

"Such a beautiful area to be in! Breakfast at the university college is beautiful and very peaceful in the morning. Nice restaurants and bars at walkable distance. Definitely enjoyed my stay here at the Goodenough Hotel. "

"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

"This was a great budget option!! Breakfast was nice, especially inside london don't see free breakfast very often. Yes this is a budget place but it was clean and we enjoyed our stay, would stay again. Be aware no toiletries included"

"My stay was for one night and the hotel suited my needs perfectly. It offered good value for money and the room and bed was comfortable. The room and building could do with redecorating but that didn’t affect my stay. Check in and out was easy and staff / owner friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for basic accommodation at value for money cost."

"The hotel is less than a block from Paddington station which is amazingly convenient to get to almost anywhere. The area was safe to walk around and lots of food options, and also a quick walk to many other sites. It's in a historic property, but we were able to get a room with an en suite bathroom. "Just under a mile away from the Horley train station and a short drive to the Gatwick airport. Rooms are spread between the first and second floor with shuttle service and breakfast options available. Only criticism is regarding the TV not only did it not work but it wasn’t smart which felt slightly outdated within the overall quality of the place.
