"Location was excellent to walk to everything and great view of the water. The room was a good size but no lock box so be prepared to meet with someone to check in and out, you should ask for an extra set of keys then , my wife and I did different things some days and very difficult with one key to get back in and power the apartment. With only one set of keys. "

"The property could do with an upgrade on the kitchen section - only a two section hotplate, basic kettle and general kitchen implements; no oven - all a bit surprising really for a 'Luxury Apartment'. Bathroom, Lounge and Bedroom were fine and more luxurious. Excelent location for a short walk to attractions and excellent aircon which was a must."

"The location is wonderful. tucked away on a narrow street, convenient to the sea, shops and cafes. The motion detector lights from the neighbors on the street are super helpful. please add a house number on the door for easier identification. Small but comfortable apartment. comfortable bed. the bathroom needs a couple of hooks for towels but the clothes drying rack was useful. the wifi is spotty. and it is quite dark in the space due to being so close to adjacent buildings yet not a problem...

I booked the ‘apartment’, which looked lovely with a nice balcony, and I was given the apartment ‘affairs’ which is clean but not pretty at all inside, with a tiny balcony to hang washing on and the hardest bed I have ever slept on (I have bruises on my ribs and hip from the hardness of the bed for three nights…). "Full of character (with a museum in the basement). Close to restaurants and other sights (the cathedral/museums etc...). Self catering in rooms is basic - better to eat out. About 120 Euro taxi ride from Catania airport. Reception is not 24/7 so arriving out of hours needs some advance planning. Reception staff are very helpful. Ortigia itself is tiny and you can walk everywhere. Don't forget your afternoon siestas. "
