"Me and my family (5 people) lived in the apartment on the first floor with three bedrooms. All the bedrooms had a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. It was not a luxury apartment, but a very charming apartment. Two of the doors in the apartment didn't work well and need a bit fixing. The apartment's location was perfect for us. "Full of character (with a museum in the basement). Close to restaurants and other sights (the cathedral/museums etc...). Self catering in rooms is basic - better to eat out. About 120 Euro taxi ride from Catania airport. Reception is not 24/7 so arriving out of hours needs some advance planning. Reception staff are very helpful. Ortigia itself is tiny and you can walk everywhere. Don't forget your afternoon siestas. "
