"Difficult one to award stars. The hotel itself, appearance and setting is fantastic. The service and quality of food was exceptional as was the value for money. The one thing that was a huge disappointment was the room. We stayed in room 12. The bed, I think, was installed when the hotel was built, it was so uncomfortable that neither of us slept for more than a couple of hours. "The property is spacious and beautiful in an idyllic setting. The gardens and pool were glorious and the sauna was a real plus. We were a large family group and all ages had a wonderful time. However the following impacted upon our stay. The house was really grubby on our arrival, particularly the kitchen, and did not seem to have been cleaned since the previous guests had left.
