"Maria at the checkin was great, she arranged for us to be checked in the room asap, even though we were 3 hours early. Nice small resort with 9 rooms/Cabanas. Restaurant was really good, Joe and Danny will take good care of you. There are a few other restaurants options along the Maya beach strip within a few minute drive or 5 to 10 min walk. On calm days you can snorkel right at the end of the dock. Not coral reef, but lots of fish and starfish to see. "

"Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. "Kalimera is a very welcoming new Eco Chic hotel. The owners and staff go above and beyond with their hospitality. They can arrange tours and provide advise to enhance your time in the area. The breakfasts were delicious. Elvis who managed the bar made excellent cocktails. The rooms are well designed for comfort and nicely situated for beautiful views. The surrounding resorts offered nice restaurants. This is the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years. We will definitely return to Kalimera."
