"We had a marvelous day with delicious meals cooked by chef Juan. Kelly and Marvin took care of the house and all of our needs. Really enjoyed our visit. Only item of note is the distance from Placencia is further than we had expected, not really a golf cart right away, requiring more cabs than we had expected."

"The beach house is nestled away a few miles from the town of Placencia. We loved the house, it was well equipped with everything we needed from kitchen to bathroom to beach needs. The home was clean and really big. We loved the pool and the beach. It was a perfect home for our family and I highly recommend it.The property manager was very helpful arranging things for us and making suggestions for Captain Jak’s for excursions and aPersonal chef for our stay."

The management company, Gecko Vacation Rentals, saw to our every need and we could not have been more impressed with the house and service we received. "I'm not sure we could have found a better location and place to stay than the Los Portocos Villa. Woke up every morning and sat out on the balcony watching the sun rise The La Dos Vita Restaurant was excellent! A must go to for supper/dinner. Rented Golf Carts for our transportation to the village. Great way to enjoy the scenery and culture in the area."
