"Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher."

"The room was very nice with lots of room for luggage and it had all the necessary amenities as well as the little extras like cookies and chocolate. The hosts were great, giving us lots of useful information and the breakfast they provided was wonderful. The heated bathroom floors were a real luxury."

"Very nice & quiet 2 bedroom B&B. The host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. Jeff had a fire in the wood stove in the morning and evening to take off the fall chill. Hot tub outside, where we sat with a glass of wine watching the sheep graze in the neighboring pasture. Lovely location a few kilometers south of Te Anau. "

"Unfortunately we could only spend one night here because we left for Franz Joseph the next morning. But, we were delighted when we arrived and saw this beautiful room…amazing view of the lake with floor to ceiling windows, it had a full kitchen, fireplace, living room and dining area. I could stay there for weeks and be happy. Only one downside is the distance from downtown. We took cabs. But, if you like to walk, it’s a lovely one."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel rooms are spacious and great for families. There is no daily room cleaning unless you pay extra for it, and it is a fair walk into the city centre. Parking at night can be extremely difficult during peak season and there isn’t enough parking for everyone and we had to find parking on the street which is difficult in Queenstown in general. "
