"Lovely hotel with kitchenette and in-room laundry facilities located close to the train and bus station. The hotel’s location made this a great base for making day-trips to surrounding areas. Walking around Takayama itself was also a breeze. Front desk staff were always super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy. Check-in and check-out process was efficient. Housekeeping options were brilliant – loved the choices that we had as well as the method of communication (attaching one of three magnetised signs to the door). "We had an unique experience staying here. Shoes ares kept in lockers next to hotel entrance. We walked on the soft, comfortable tatami throughout the hotel common area. The hotel provides mechanic car park - which is helpful, so we don't have to worry about our car being subject to snow or cold. Highly recommend this hotel."
