"Everything was satisfactory. The only problem I had was that I was required to return by 12 PM because the doors got locked. Otherwise everything was ok."

"The hotel is in a great location to explore Matera, and some of the rooms are in actual caves (it's a great experience for a night or two) without windows. These rooms are very nice and have a good spacious shower. Some rooms are not in the check-in building and so a walk down some stone steps may be required. "

"This was a "blow the budget" trip for me and I was not disappointed. The hotel is built into caves and has fantastic views of the city and over the ford (you can walk over). My room (a cave in itself) was huge, a large jacuzzi in the centre (would likely accommodate 4 people) and a modern wet room at rear, decor and lighting was perfect. "This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. Also great the breakfastr buffet"
