"We didn’t get the bottle of wine and we forgot to ask for it. However, the hotel, the room and location was stunning. Specially the people who work at the hotel, they were wonderful! All of them were kind and friendly. We even met the owner whom was very kind and attentive to all our needs. I’d come back for next time. Kudos to Giuseppe for his time and recommendations!"

"Quick walk to Sassi, the castle, and breakfast in the common dining area. If you prefer a bus tour he has options for that as well. We found many food options within 5 minutes and a small fruit shop across the street. "

"The property is in a great location on the edge of the historic old town with views just outside of the valley and caves as well as the historic church of San Pietro Caveoso with the Casa Grotta. Breakfast was very good also. Just bear in mind that the property is in the city restricted zone so we had to park around 0.5 miles away and walk with our bags - would have been good if the property description mentioned this as well as pointing out where you can park. Maters is a fantastic little place...
