"Excellent ! I'm sure the door self-closers could be made to close softly. Some inconsiderate idiots were in the rooms next to us and couldn't be bothered to hold them until they closed. In the early hours when they were pissed up they were constantly opening and slamming doors and shouting. I barely slept after 2 in the morning."

"Great hotel and pub. The hotel is in a separate building on the side of the pub. Clean room, decent size, and food was great. We would stay again for sure. "

"We stayed here as we don't like the big chain hotels, we prefer an independently owned as they have so much more character. We chose the Bear's Paw in order to visit Trentham Gardens and the National Memorial Arboretum even though both were a drive away. Lovely old inn, had a great dinner and breakfast here. We had our dog with us, who was welcome wherever we were."

"I dont often leave reviews, probably because I seem to spend half my life in hotels with work, but the Manor House Hotel deserves some serious plaudits. From the minute I arrived I have been seriously impressed at every turn. From the well balanced professionalism/friendliness of all the staff, the superb 3 course dinner (the Pork & Scallops starter is the best I've had with the Scallops cooked to perfection) to the stunning Spa facilities (particularly the outdoor area) The room is clean, bed comfortable and a great shower. Not really sure what more I or anyone could really ask for! Top Class and I'll be back."
