We loved it! The path to the lake is steep in places but is easier after you've done it once or twice. Very quiet cove with deep water. Beautiful! and a double decker dock! "

"Had our cycling team camp here and the location and amenities could not be more perfect!! From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. I will say be prepared for the most difficult climb of the day being the driveway, but that aspect just made the trip that much more enjoyable"

"This is an excellent vacation home near Lake James, and Mountains of NC. Quick access to cities & towns as needed, and also easy to Lake James. House is exactly (if not better) than advertised. Everything needed is available and well thought out. Lake James Boat Rentals is very customer friendly! Henry is the man!!"

"The home was lovely. Overall clean, had some minor issues with leftover trash left on the patio (assumably from prior guest), pans/utensils had a slight greasy feeling. Nothing too major. The location was beautiful, great views. We only really had one complaint, the kitchen equipment provided was not up to par. The pots/pans, cooking utensils and baking pans were not good quality. This is a personal preference and did not prevent us from getting our Thanksgiving meal cooked. There was a coffee...
