"This house was amazing. We spent Christmas here as a family, and loved everything. The house was so well stocked (probably the best we have ever stayed in). The views are breathtaking the surround sound system was great for Christmas music. The steps down to the lake are intense BUT the host describes them well. "Everything was as listed and nearly perfect. However, I was unable to turn the main kitchen light on, which could be user error as it was remote controlled. I was also unable to fully flush one of the toilets, and lastly I was unable to get in contact with the host to get the WIFI password, so I had to use cellular data the whole stay."

From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. "Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back...

"We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all.
