Galena Inn

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (130)
"Innkeeper Kerrie was kind and overall helpful. The building is beautiful. She has generally concerned about our ability to get to the third floor and helped us relocate to the coach house. One TV didn’t work in the space and the lighting in the coach house was pretty dim. The breakfast was good and she was willing to accommodate our special dietary needs. I do feel like some aspects of the house and yard could have been cleaner. Parking can be a challenge. "

Farmers Guest House

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (56)
"As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

Lamberson Guest House

3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (12)
"Chris and Resa run a wonderful B&B! The house itself is beautiful, and if you like seeing original architectural details of historic buildings, this is the place for you. Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine. My favorite touch was a homemade brownie waiting for us when we checked into our room - delicious!"

Cozy Home secluded in the Wildlife Preserves

"Everything about the place was perfect. There was a slight hiccup with getting in initially but the property handled everything very quickly. The place was very clean and decorated with cute winter decor. There was even a hot chocolate bar with cocoa and cookies provided. We had a great time playing games in the basement and there were also board games provided. The loft has a cute little reading area that I didn't get to take advantage of but they even provide books for you. We made all of our...
