The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the manager was the best ever. The endless walks on the beach with our Weim were very enjoyable and peaceful. "We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. It is also located an easy drive a many coastal hikes and tourist sites to help fill the days when you want to be more active than beach combing. "We had a great time the house is a short walk to Heceta beach and it was wonderful. The house is very clean and had everything ww needed except food. We went to the old town city hall parking lot and watched the beautiful fireworks display they put on for the 4th of July. The house is a little old and has some creaky stairs but that was all part of our vibe. Our family is old and a few of us have some creaking going on so we fit like a glove. Thanks for letting us make some great memories."

"The cottage was perfect. Clean, fresh linens, etc. The view of the river, fishing, kayaking or cooking out was so relaxing. Close to Eugene and next door to Florence on the coast where there are sights and good restaurants galore. Chad and Judi were wonderful hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, assessable, helpful, but not in your face. Highly recommend."

You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend!
