"It was warm when we walked in, that’s always a plus! Although it was pretty wet because my glasses steamed up. You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend! Both propane heaters got it really hot and quick making it very comfortable after a long day elk hunting in the freezing rain. The property manager got back with me very fast because I thought there was a missing...

"My wife and I wanted to get away from it all and celebrate her 50th. This place did not disappoint. Cozy and quiet, except for a stream that was ran about 15 feet from the back deck. There’s a big field that the dogs loved. Probably some areas to hike, but honestly, we just didn’t want to leave the cabin."

"We were very happy with our stay. The location was perfect for visiting the area and such a beautiful setting. We walked along the creek, and loved being right across from the beach for evening strolls and watching the sun set. The house was immaculate with very comfortable beds and everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend!"

"This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....

"Siltcoos Station is charming, lovingly cared for, and the perfect place to get away from it all. The view of the lake from our cabin was breathtaking. We brought our boat with us and spent a couple of days exploring the lake and the area. Dan and his wife were gracious and responsive hosts, and their dogs were great company. They immediately made friends with our dog. I can’t wait to return! "

"The house has the charming features of a 1960s/1970s place. The unexpected bonus is the view--it ranges between the distant expanses of the lake on clear days and on foggy days, the trees between the house and the lake take on a mystical quality. It was a great pleasure seeing the hourly changes. "

"This is a lovely home in a lovely area. The ONLY down side was that it is located on a highway and there is some traffic noise in the early morning. "

"The cottage was perfect. Clean, fresh linens, etc. The view of the river, fishing, kayaking or cooking out was so relaxing. Close to Eugene and next door to Florence on the coast where there are sights and good restaurants galore. Chad and Judi were wonderful hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, assessable, helpful, but not in your face. Highly recommend."

"My only complaint was the hot water ran out after a not long shower and the attendant at the desk never said anything about the breakfast thst was included. Otherwise it was lovely and i will be back "
