"Was a very short stay but just what we needed. No complaints and would come again if we were in the area."

"It was warm when we walked in, that’s always a plus! Although it was pretty wet because my glasses steamed up. You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend! Both propane heaters got it really hot and quick making it very comfortable after a long day elk hunting in the freezing rain. The property manager got back with me very fast because I thought there was a missing...

"Nice, quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. Great hot tub, everyone enjoyed that. For longer stays would be nice to have more dish washer pods and more laundry soap. Thanks so much, we definitely enjoyed our time"

"This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....

We walked along the creek, and loved being right across from the beach for evening strolls and watching the sun set. "The house has the charming features of a 1960s/1970s place. The unexpected bonus is the view--it ranges between the distant expanses of the lake on clear days and on foggy days, the trees between the house and the lake take on a mystical quality. It was a great pleasure seeing the hourly changes. "

"Siltcoos Station is charming, lovingly cared for, and the perfect place to get away from it all. The view of the lake from our cabin was breathtaking. We brought our boat with us and spent a couple of days exploring the lake and the area. Dan and his wife were gracious and responsive hosts, and their dogs were great company. They immediately made friends with our dog. I can’t wait to return! "

The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the manager was the best ever. The endless walks on the beach with our Weim were very enjoyable and peaceful. If you want some pizza, I would recommend Abey’s in Florence. "
