"This is 2nd time we have been here and both times the place has been perfect. Great area for walks and 2 minutes walk to beach and 5minutes to Awhitu Winery. We hope to be back again some time soon. Thanks to the hosts as great communication, and ever thing as per the Bookabach site"

"Good central place close to Sky tower. The Hotel is little Old and there is construction , so no good place to park for unloading luggage. The AC is only in the family room and not in the Bedrooms, so we had to keep the bed rooom doors open to get the cool air. "

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay – thank you so much for having us! We absolutely loved having our own spa in the room, the stunning view from our balcony, and the ability to cast movies from our phone to the TV using Google Chromecast. However, we did notice that the outdoor spa next to the pool wasn’t working during our stay (front desk said it is out of order) and the air conditioning in our room could have been more effective. "We loved the hotel. We had just landed from South Island and only needed one night to rest our heads before winging it back to LA. Thankfully I had made a reservation for the hotel restaurant as they ONLY accepted reservations and no walkins. Our server was absolutely lovely but the kitchen really lacked in time management. We had an 8:00 pm reservation and by 9:00 we hadn't gotten our entrees. Our server was so kind and sweet and I felt really bad for her as it wasn't her fault. Once we all got our food it was very good, but it took FOREVER. We ordered dessert and thought perhaps that wouldn't be so bad...wrong. Another 30 minutes at least before she had to go back and ask the dessert chef for it. Wine was delicious! "
