"We loved this property. We stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding nearby. The location was excellent - quiet and peaceful but handy to the Titirangi shops and other amenities. The property was bigger than we were expecting with two lounge spaces. While being more on the rustic side, it was also clean, tidy and really well equipped - especially the kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The cabin is quite well stocked, clean and the beds are really comfortable. Our only issues as trying to find the place and would encourage everyone to print off Donna’s detailed instructions before you travel as the GPS and internet are spotty to say the least. Also, the place could be more clearly marked and the road up to the property is very narrow and challenging. We also had to kill a few moths and spiders which wasn’t pleasant. "Lovely, boutique, one bedroom. Super convenient for the city and for shopping. The property description wasn’t totally accurate when we arrived but the owners were very responsive in making necessary updates. "

"This property and the hosts are phenomenal. We could not have asked for a better experience or a more comfortable cottage. It’s even nicer than the pictures! The neighborhood was quiet and the cottage had everything we needed to enjoy travels to New Zealand. We traveled from the States and found the location to be perfect for day trips to the city, Hamilton, Raglan, Waitomo (glow worm caves), Hobbiton, and surrounding areas. We highly recommend! "

"Successful four days for our family catchup. Stairs to bedroom/bathroom we would not recommend for the 70+. Property ideal for the short and young. Thank goodness for the side door entrance. Even our small foxy fell down while going down and coming up these stairs and refused to use the stairs. No communication made with manager. "We loved the property but thought we should mention that this property is managed by another company so contacting them wasn’t simple. There was little to no information provided except lock box code. Piha had the most mosquitos on our whole trip so sleeping with windows open to keep the place cool was troublesome. However the property was beautiful as was the location. Getting in and out of the driveway was also interesting especially if you have a larger vehicle. "

"The property is new, well equipped, comfortable, with great views of the basin and big skies. There is good wifi. The area is residential but just 5 mins away there's a great bus service into the city centre (20mins) and to the nearby beach [10mins]. Parking is available but we used public transport to explore Auckland and the coast. "

"We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. The home was very comfortable and the beds were comfy too. I have stayed in lots of places and this was best sleep I have had. Great kitchen too and air-conditioning was lovely."

"Great property and stay, area was okay, nice cafe down the street. Unfortunately the towels all smelled very mildewy and property manager would not provide others as they say they were brand new- either way they stank and it would’ve been nice to have them washed or provided others that were washed."

"Location is quite good. We stayed on the highest floor and didn’t bothered by any noise from the busy street just below. Staff are friendly and arranged to add the extra bed (if which supposed to be there with our reservation) promptly."

"Amazing stay! Miguel at concierge desk helped me locate documents that were left at the airport earlier in the morning. He went over and above to help me. So grateful for his help. I highly recommend this hotel. In addition the rooms were very accommodating and easy check-in. I rarely leave reviews but this hotel was outstanding! "

Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, an IHG Hotel

"Friendly, helpful staff; Clean room and facilities; Great breakfast; Good sized clean room with fridge and microwave; Great location, Great view, Taxi's right out front of hotel; Lots of shops, grocery stores and restaurants close. Didn't like: how the bathroom door served as a combo for the shower and door to bathroom & we had a room with a "connecting" door; do not get this unless you're sharing with family or friends; the person in the other room was very ill and we could hear coughing and other unpleasant sounds."
