"We loved our stay in Luxury Standard Room 209 at Tulemar. We saw squirrel monkeys daily from our balcony, and toucans, sloths, scarlet macaws, leaf-cutter ants, frogs, bats, and iguanas on the grounds also. The private beach was never crowded, and we appreciated the complimentary umbrellas and chairs, as well as the ability to order food and drinks from Tule Cafe while on the beach. "The location of the hotel is great - right next to the national park and close to Playa Espadilla. Staff was super friendly. As the hotel is on a steep hill, the hotel offered a transport service up and down. Breakfast was good. The hotel also organised a tour guide for us to guide as through the national park as well as a Catamaran tour. And also monkeys came visit at the pool, which was really cute. All in all a great experience. "

"Basic hotel but bed was comfy and shower hot. Small kitchen area in room for snacks. Easy walk to Manuel Antonio - maybe 1km Best thing is beach access. A nice pool on the property and walk out the gate to the beach which is very clean and nice. Small restaurant for breakfast and lunch. One morning there were monkeys and one even took my pancake when I was done eating! Staff was very accommodating and helped me arrange cruise Perfect base for Manuel Antonio"

"Gorgeous view! The servers were warm and so friendly. Our only complaints were the construction noise, some small issues with our room (eg curtains didn’t shut, doors opened randomly), and the lack of elevators (lots of stairs - probably would not recommend for mobility-challenged folks). However, we had a relaxing time and would definitely consider staying here again!"

Being right across from the beach was incredibly convenient, even with the busy street. The real highlight was our room at the top of the hill – the view was simply spectacular!
