"Everything was great about this stay. Very clean place set off the road a little but only a few minutes from all the shops. Stairs and everything were shoveled and salted when we got there and there was more close by if we needed it. Left during a snow storm and the host was very nice and plowing the road which helped a lot. Definitely going to be staying here again!"

Our only complaints would be that the house itself was fairly loud (creaky floors and no insulation between rooms so can hear when someone is up early or late) and sheer white curtains (making everyone have to get up with the sun), BUT all that said, wonderful old house. Very clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you'd need. Would definitely recommend!"

"The home is in a nice and safe location. Lovely exterior and interior. Nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds, good quality bed linens and plenty of absorbent towels. Very clean.Hot water is slow to heat up in sinks, showers and bathtub. House needs to add more kitchen flatware - there were only 5 teaspoons, 1 tablespoon, but sufficient forks and knives. Also would be nice to have a non-plastic tea kettle.Please add indoor mat at back door to wipe shoes and avoid puddles and dirt...

"Ten family members from four states convened in Andover for a holiday reunion and retreat. This was a great house for that. Great layout, spacious common areas, ample windows to welcome natural light, a fully equipped kitchen (great for this group that did its own cooking), comfy beds, and a great location. The home is a testament to the solidity of post-war construction. Some other family members from the local area came to visit on a couple of occasions, and all commented on the suitability...

"The house needs to be updated but otherwise it was nice to be oceanfront. Near Maine and NH and Newburyport which we love. Near some really good restaurants. Very nice getaway."
