This was our first glamping experience, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Couscous Glamping in Japan. The entire team made our stay truly memorable. Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, but they are also genuinely kind, passionate, and welcoming. The campsite was stunning, and our tent was spacious and beautifully set up. Although we had to walk about 25 minutes to reach the location, one of the staff members, Fujita Takeshi, kindly offered us a ride back with our luggage. This gesture wasn’t part of their regular service, but it showed just how thoughtful and generous he is. The amenities were top-notch, including restrooms, multiple showers, slippers, towels, and even toothpaste—all provided for our convenience. Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. "Perfect place to relax and just breathe in the fresh air. Amazing views of the harbor greets you every morning. Very friendly gentleman running the property. As non Japanese speakers, we definitely felt the hospitality and he was able to give us recommendations and directions. The water pressure here is INSANE and perfect after a day of just hanging out in the neighborhood. A good bit of fresh seafood restaurants around but check google for operating hours. This was our base for exploring Fuji and it was perfect. "

"We loved this place. An older property but very traditional interior with a wonderful bathing area. The views are just incredible. You can wake up with an amazing sunrise over the ocean with the best vantage point in town. But the best part of this place is the host. From when we arrived the upbeat, positive energy of the host was amazing; she didn’t miss a beat and was incredibly helpful even though we didn’t speak each others language. Would stay here again anytime. "

"There was no air conditioning working when we went in. Corridor didn’t have air ventilation either and room was very hot when we entered. "

"We stayed here with elderly parents. It’s very close from the station and easy to find. The man (sorry I didn’t get his name) at check-in was extremely thorough in explaining everything and friendly yet professional. We had a private bath in our room, but mainly visited the main baths. I didn’t realize they had this “Radon onsen” which had many health benefits. The dinner was HUGE and amazing. The breakfast was just was good. The service was great, too. The coffee in the lobby was also great. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay :)"
